Monkey Business

We always new we had a monkey in the family! Aaron and Alaina joined a rock climbing club in Provo and they go on rock climbing trips around Utah all year round. These are pictures from the most recent excursion where Aaron is conquering some pretty breath-taking climbs. What an athlete!

Danielle's Birthday

Happy Birthday Danielle! We made a cake for you and let you blow out the candles and then we ate it for you. Aren't we a nice family? We sure love you and all wanted to wish you a happy 22nd birthday. Even Tyler was here for the occasion. We really wish we could post the video of our celebration, but we are having technical difficulties.

Bear Bum...Rrrarrr!

I know these pictures look like I'm a neglegent mother, since Bladen has a hold of a cord, but the story is cool. Normally I am not kind of person to just leave my babe lying on the floor naked, but up to this point he hasn't been able to roll over from his back to his stomach. I just ran into the other room to get his bath all set up and when I came back, he had rolled over onto his stomach and was checking our movies out and eating the cord on the floor. I'm going to have to watch this guy from here on out.

Bladen's eating habits

Sometimes Bladen likes to eat his feet. And other times he loves to eat his hands. But most recently he has been experimenting with baby rice cereal.

Loves colors..and flipping over

I think Bladen discovered that there are many beautifully colored spots on his bouncer and decided he wanted to see them first hand. Initially he started to turn his head around, but then he got curious and started to turn his whole body around. It was so funny that we just had to take a few pictures. I mean, this kid almost turned over on his stomach while-in his bouncer, no less. What a contortionist!

Christmas Day 2008

Christmas morning was so fun and we were all looking forward to opening presents and spending time with eachother. We ate bubble bread, opened out gifts, set up Jared's new tent and tried out the sleeping pad that Aaron and Alaina gave Bladen. Then the rest of the day we pretty much ate chocolates and cookies to our hearts content, worked on a puzzle, watched movies and looked forward to talking to our missionaries. What a day! It was all very laid back, but you only get those kind of days a few times a year.

Rub-a-dub-dub!

After one of Bladen's baths, Jared decided to take a little creative liberty with his hair styling and gave Bladen quite the up-do.
